Introduction

CCSD(Chinese Characters Shap Description) is a kind of abstract description for the shap of Chinese characters. Notes the hiberarchy between Chinese characters(complex character is made up of simple character or part), CCSD will be the most compact and flexible description.

Advantages:

• compact
• one shape description, several fonts(use certain font description to create certain font)
• any font size
• describe Chinese Characters which are NOT in your character set(absent or new)

Disadvantages:

• complex render engine
• slowly render speed
• bad performance for small font size
