Carrington was built for the entire WordPress community, both developers and end-users alike. Some people will appreciate the unlimited potential the new theme organization offers. Others will love the way AJAX optionally loads the comments right on the homepage. In any case, we’re confident that this new framework is the best thing since the wheel and sliced bread.

This is a starting point - a theme outline - for developers to build on in creating their own Carrington-based theme. It includes only essential functions and example code.
SVN Access
Note: The Carrington framework (the carrington-core directory in the Carrington Blog theme) is an svn:externals for all of our Carrington themes. This allows the framework to be properly abstracted and used between many different themes.
The svn:externals is set up using the // relative URL syntax as supported by SVN version 1.5. Hopefully this allows people to check out anonymously over http and using authentication over https.
