Describes the Players' Network
Players' NetworkPlayers' Network builds a network of Starcraft Broodwar players based on replays. It has a web interface: http://bwhf.net/hackerdb/players The Players' Network automatically recognizes connections between replays where the same name is used for players. With BWHF Agent you can automatically send info about every game you play, and you can send any old replays or entire folder of replays recursively. Private or sensitive data is not stored on the server. For example replays and game chat are not stored, they are not even sent to the server. Only public header information of games are sent. Every link in the Players Network can be cached. For example you can send links of players, games, common game lists to others via email, or you can publish the links in forums. Everyone who opens the link will see the same page. Summary of what you can do with Players' Network
Game listYou can list the games that are added to the Players' Network. You can sort them by version, date, map name, duration etc. by clicking on the columns header. The colored background in the Details column indicates the reported gateway of the game. Sorting by the Details column will sort by gateway. The map names appear as links. If you click one of the map names, it will filter you the games to that map. If the game list is already filtered to a player's games or to the common games of 2 players, then clicking on the map name will filter to games of the players which was played on that map. Game detailsYou can see the details of a game if you click on its number. The game details page gives you other information of the game, and lists the players in it with other details like race, APM, actions and colors. Player listYou can list the players and filter them by name that are in the Players' Network. You can sort them by name, games count, first/last game and total time in games. If you click on a games count, then it will list you the games where the player was in it. Player detailsIf you click on a name of a player anywhere, it will take you to the players profile. The players profile gives you statistical information about the player such as total games, first/last game date, presence over time, total time in games, average games per day, race distribution, and a link to list the games of the player, and another link to list the players who played with him/her. If the player has registered akas, they will be listed, and all the mentioned details will be shown when all the akas are included in the calculation. The games count link shows you the games of the player. If you click on the "Who played with ..." link, it will take you to the player list page where only players are listed who played with the source player. Now if you click a games count link on this page, it will show the common games of the 2 players. If on the profiles page you clicked on the link which includes AKAs, then the player list page will also show links leading to commong games list which also includes games played by any of the 2 players' AKAs. The average APM is a weighted average. Longer games weight more in the average than short ones. For example taking 2 games: 10 min 100 APM and 20 min 200 APM, the weighted average of these 2 games is not 150 but 166. Random-o-meter shows the extent of the player using all 3 races. It displays maximum value if all races are used equally, shows minimum value if only 1 race is used. The exact value between 0 and 100 is calculated with my formula: Randomness = 100 - ( abs(zergGames/gamesCount - 1/3) + abs(terranGames/gamesCount - 1/3) + abs(protossGames/gamesCount - 1/3) ) * 75; Gateway distribution shows the distribution of gateways of the games of the player where it was set when the game was added to the Players' Network. You can see the Top 15 maps from games of the player. If you click on the games count here, it will show you the games that the player was in it and were played on that map. The Activity chart shows the player activity, the games/month value over time. The APM development chart shows the development of the average APM of the player over time. The Race distribution charts show the race distribution of the player over time. AKA listOn this page you can check the registered AKAs. Every player being in the same AKA group denotes the same person behind the accounts of the group. Name filtersThere is a Filter by name or a Filter by map name option on the pages. These can be used to filter the entities listed on the page to those that contain this text. An entity will be included in the filter process if the text entered here is contained anywhere in it. For example: filter="ota" includes names like "ota", "otawe", "dakota", "dakota_fanning". You can use special characters to filter. The character _ can match any character. For example: filter="b_ta" matches the names: "bota", "albbta". You can use the character % to match any character sequence. For example filter="ako%ing" matches the names: "dakota_fanning", "ako23inga", "akoing". If the filter text itself is in quotes, then a full phrase filtering is performed (full match not partial). Special characters can still be used. Search tip: Some map names contain invisible, so called control characters which results in making their name appear in colors in Starcraft. If you type a name, you will not be able to enter these characters. For example: "neo the lost temple". If you enter that map name filter, you probably won't get any result. That is because there is a control character before and after the "neo" word. You can still list all the "neo the lost temple" maps if you insert the % special character to substitute any characters including the control characters: "neo%the lost temple" (without the quotes). Hacker database - Players' Network connectionIf there are hacker reports with a player name displayed in the Players' Network, an "R" tag will be displayed next to the player name. This tag is a link, you can click on it and the hacker reports with that name will be listed. |

You should get rid of duplicates. Just do a hash of the first 10 seconds of the replay.
This is not so trivial. First of, I do not store replays (and other sensitive data). Second, even the hash of the first x seconds could differ for the same game: if player 1 is not allied to player 2 and he makes map ping actions, hash calculated at player 1 would differ from the hash calculated at player 2.
And there is already a hashing implemented for the whole game. The same replay added by 2 different person will only appear in the database once.
Your system is screwed or there is a way to fool it. I just got listed today and I have never even thought of downloading a hack, especially for a multi-player game.
I assume u were talking about the hacker list. There is this thing called spoof if you haven't heard of it. Tell me your name so I can look into it.
hey, im certifydgangsta on sc/bw. i got spoofed for 1 game a while ago...it took place on october 15th and you will see in the db that my name appears twice in one game and it is the only time ive been counted for hacking, if its possible to remove it then thanks, but either way id be interested in getting a key so i can report hackers that i find

This is LoVeRiCe?@USWEST. Your bwhf system is obviously flawed. I've been gaming for 6 years now and spoof hackers have been trying to ruin my reputation for the past 4 years now. Lately, there have been countless hackers spoofing my name in dozen of games and I came to see if my name was on the list, which it was. I have never hacked and I never will. I would like my name removed due to false accusations and your flawed system. There are many threads about me in SC forum sites regarding hackers spoofing me and it goes way back years ago and still continueing.

Hey, my account name is TLxZine. I have been sharing accounts with my little brother and yes some he did download n hacked. I did not know it could cause a big commotion and now Im being accused. NO I dont not hack, have I tried before? Honestly yes but I dont..I have been using bwhf to locate hackers. Please take this matter into a consideration and take me off the hackers list. Thanks
IF you didn't hack, you're brother is doing a great job. He managed to get caught 5 times over more than 2 months. Yes, in this case you might not hack, but BWHF Agent doesn't say you hack. It says that the name 'TLxZine' might hack which is true since you share that account with your hacker brother.
hey there iczaa. i commend your effort to penalize all hackers, but spoofers ruin innocent players' reputation with your system now. half of the games i go to now, i get accused of hacking and get banned before i even say a word.
i previously shared my account with a friend a few years ago, so that might have something to do with it. i never play BGH, and half of the games my apm is reported as 130 (my avg is 185+). finally, doesn't it just make sense that i care about this THAT much to get my name off the list? lol.

Hey buddy, i noticed all the complaints about hackers spoofing names... I have witnessed many people spoofing names like inurak, and others on USeast who have been around long enough to be reputable... ANY regular hacker spoofs... meaning your database does not work in its current state... SPOOFED names cannot be whispered, so an easy fix for you is to make BWHF automatically attempt to whisper names of players who join the channel. Usually a spoofer comes up as that person is not online, or, invalid... or, if the guy is the regular dude whos on he will get the message and not the spoofer.. perhaps u could make an automessage, BWHF verify.. so, for example in this case, inurak would get the message if he was online, whisper the person back and say that aint me

I do not share accounts with my brother anymore and changed my password for my personal use only. That issue has been dealt with. He uses another account not by the name of TLxZinE. I told him I do not want wrong assumptions for people stating that I hack. I dont mean to create an issue, my apoligy. Please note, this problem will never occur again. This is a great program, the online charts are great too. The pie chart showing US East currently has the majority of hackers in replays saved, I wonder though, what is the % of replays saved that come from US East? Is it worse than US West, or are there just more reports from US East?.

USEast has the lead because I founded the project, and I was a hardcore USEast player. First I gave the program to my friends who were also playing on USEast. But the lead is becoming less and less, USWest has just as many hackers...

Don't know where to say it, but the bot on West doesn't message back after ~scan username?. Now, it only replies via general chat in channel clash. Could you fix that? It's a greaaat bot. Thanks!
The other bot with the scan command is not mine. The script that the other one uses is not mine and is not ready. Once the script is complete, I will add it to my bot.
So, it appears my account may have reported myself as a hacker. Or maybe not - but how do you challenge, or remove a hack report that is wrong? The Weeedmaan can be accused of many wrongcomings and shortdoings, but hacking is not possible. Hack detection, only, is possible. Ironically, I had the lowest APM in the game. REMOVE THIS REPORT! Or create a way to challenge isolated reports like this.

Is there a way to report a hacker manually. I got wloader who detected a hacker trying to drop hack somone and he admitted it ingame. Bwhf did not detect anything

How do you remove your name from the hacker database list??.. I have had my name for over 8 years now and I enter the op senmon chat room (US East) earlier today and everyone is calling me a hacker (dvaq). I was perplexed to say the least..... I have never used any hacks but there was my name on the bwhfagent when I followed the instructions given to me in the chat room.... by typing /f m .scan dvaq..... BOOM: dvaq is a hacker...... Wanted to know what was happening so I came to this site and there was my name..... It said that I hacked 2 days ago in a game 3v3 ZC 0 Rulz EXPERTS.... I was on bnet 2 days ago but I haven't played no rules games in months...... Coincidentally 2 days ago I joined a NR MM game and there I was already in the game..... someone else was using my name and as soon as I joined the person left..... and then i got dropped from the game.......but that has happened to me a few times over the years so I did not let it bother me too much.
As I mentioned I have had my name for many years, been playing starcraft on and off since 1999 and I have NEVER used a hack, I don't like that my rep is being tarnished...... I dont want to change my name, I have used it for the longest while but I dont want to be labelled a hacker either when I have never used a hack...... If someone can look into that or give me some feedback it would be most appreciated...... also I have hundreds of replays over the years that can be used to compare that particular game replay to my other replays...... and I am absolutely certain that it will show that I was not the one playing that game..... This is crazy man... I never hacked the systems i always use bwhf as an anti-hack program because i hate hacker and i think of them as noobs.
Now what happend. Now i don't have been online all week and now someone played a game on my acc(how that is possible i don't know) and he hackt on my name. This i have seen before with a couple of friends of mine but i dind't know i would be a victim too. Can you pls remove the R on my acc because i never hacked i swear it i hate those goddamn hackers.

Hi my user name is born.2.hustle on us server east. As you see I have 5000 games logged with bwhf, all without any reports, so my opinion is quite reputable. My concern is not for myself, but for my friends.
Two of my friends have been spoofed by hackers and they don't care enough to ask to have their names removed.
User name Tuy. on east has 3 reports on east out of 1859 games logged. As you see of those games 1127 have been with me. Also evidence linked to these fraudulent, spoofed games are the user name lettuceplay appears in both games. The dates logged for the reports are far apart and the number of games played between tuy. and lettuceplay are very few (four). This is a friend of the name spoofer as you can see by this "coincidence".
My other friend's account is H(e)ll. Evidence provided here is 1 report out of 2393 games logged. Also, the apm from this game was 282 as compared to 130~ in most games. As well as some very suspicious names in the one reported game.
I do want to thank you for your very useful program. Maybe implementing an automatic /whois /whereis function for people who enter game lobbies would solve this. BWHF could then not submit a report for that specific player if that user is logged on OR if that user is logged on but that in the game (that last one is important if spoofer/victim are on at the same time). I know nothing about programming so I do not know how hard this would be.
I removed H(e)ll. But I will not remove Tuy.. The reason for this is that he may not be hacking nowdays, but I caught him myself too and I checked and it wasn't spoof. Unfortunately spoof detection is not possible.

I have played thousands of games and never used any kind of that shit! most of my allies, like me, had been spoofed in the past!! so if your agent is not able to take care that the player is logged in for real in the announced game then pls explain WHERE is the benefit of your nice tool? it is useless 4 real then!! so pls be so kind and send me the replay OR remove me from ur database!! So what does it mean that the servers are going down? Will BWHF agent no longer pick up hackers? How about if we can raise enough donations by the end of the month? Let us know how much is needed.
BWHF Agent will still be able to detect hackers in replays, and to alert after game.
But there will be no central hacker database, no server to report to and no server to get the hacker list to alert before game in the lobby. And also no Player's Network of course.
Okay please let us know if there is still a chance to raise enough donations to keep everything open and how much is needed.

Apparently I got spoofed- no clue how or why.
I have 1 incident in over 1000 games, I don't play 0 clutter- any my 1 incident is saying I used automine on 0 clutter 10 days ago. I've never had any hack installed in 7 years. I'm guessing it assumed auto mine on a fast split or I got spoofed.
Please take me off this, retards without a brain will never accept that a guy with a 600-600 record with 2 discs is not a hacker because this stupid lists says I automined 1 time on 0 clutter- which i don't even play.
