Have BWAPI generate random map terrain as the map is being loaded.

Random terrain generation will use a specified TRG file or existing map for Use Map Settings triggers.

I think we should break away from the standard allowable terrain and include blends that are otherwise not seen by the default editor. Naturally we don't want maps to contain anything "blocky". Many of the maps used these days have stuff like reverse ramps, extended bridges, even some neutral structures.

Proposal:

  • Makes use of the vast existing community terrain projects (such as http://www.staredit.net/topic/7800/ and http://www.staredit.net/topic/3223/ ).
  • Only use the best of the best (nothing that doesn't look pleasing and nothing that causes pathing malfunctions).
  • Random doodads placed with a percentage of appearance (trees are more common, larger doodads are less common).
