News 16/02/2008 - New version 3.1.2 Bussola Holy Bible to iPhone and iPod Touch in English, Spanish and Portuguese

The Project

The Bussola Holy Bible Project by Rodrigo Prota seeks to publish the Sacred Bible in all of the translations in a version of .html, .txt or .mdb or/ and in files for readers of e-books. Rodrigo believes that this way anyone should be able to access the Bible, anytime, anywhere. His group has been working to make possible to connect it in the cellular, so the Holy Bible can be in your pocket, in any language.

Holy Bible Bussola to iPhone and iPod Touch

I developed a Bible program to iPhone that can be seen in the format of application Books.app. You’ll have to install this program to be able to read the Bussola Holy Bible.

Note: The texts used in this Bible were gotten in the internet, therefore if there is some wrong verse or text, please communicate us by e-mail: bussolaholybible@gmail.com or in our blog: http://bussolaholybible.blogspot.com so we can correct it in the next versions.

Directory where is installed: /var/root/Media/EBooks

How can I to install it

1 - Going to the “Sources” page in Installer.app and add “BHB Packaging”.

2 - Add the new repo URL of: http://apps.arcauniversal.com/bhb.plist (Make sure you include that final slash! Also make sure that your iPhone doesn’t capitalize the “p” in “iphone”. Going to that URL with your browser won’t work.)

3 - You may need to manually refresh it once, after Installer.app adds the repo and does it’s own refresh. The site will show up as “Uncategorized” (at least, it does for me), but that’s ok
