issue 1
(build-livecd failure : cp: cannot stat `../pud_builddir/lxde...) commented on by rayhaque
- This did not seem to reoccur when I performed the process using the .tw mirror that
comes as the default. However, when done my system would not completely boot to the
desktop. It seemed to get up to the point when the USB drive detection occurs and
then dumped me into Busybox. I guess I will stick with the standard distribution for
now, but I would love to use the customization features of this to build an even
small and more compact version of PUD. I am attempting to create an image that will
fit into 512MB of space on a Neoware machine.

issue 1
(build-livecd failure : cp: cannot stat `../pud_builddir/lxde...) reported by rayhaque
- What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download the latest build-livecd from svn
2. sudo sudo perl build-livecd.pl
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected to go to completion and produce an iso, instead I get this error
message: cp: cannot stat `../pud_builddir/lxde-20090115-19/system/vmlinuz':
No such file or directory
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Used the latest code through SVN. Attempted to build the iso twice. Once
using Ubuntu 8.04, and the second time with Xubuntu 8.10. Both ended in
the same error.
Please provide any additional information below.
I'm not sure what's causing this. Is it because I am using a different
mirror? I switched from the .tw to a mirror in the US since the .tw mirror
is so slow for me in the states. I also produced my own list.txt which I
based on the install.txt file.
I am attaching file.txt, lxde-XXX.log, and setting.pm (one line changed).
