This project want to package source code from all projetcs of free software that only have source code available via cvs or svn servers. This will help to projects as FreeBSD/NetBSD/OpenBSD/DragonFlyBSD. With this, they can do ports/pkgsrc of stable/devel version of free software projects. The goal of this is that they will use ftp mirrors of google and not use cvs or svn directly , because it could affect the performance of svn or cvs servers, creating a lot of problems for developers and users of these servers. the source code that we package will be only free software under some free license (GPL, BSD, etc) |
