07/27/2009: As scheduled, all testers have received Beta IPS-001. The next round should go out August 3rd. Please refer to the instructions on how to use the Issues System.

07/12/2009: Beta testers have been assigned and will be contacted once the beta testing phase begins. Until then, we suggest you replay through the English version of Brandish 1.

Developer Guidelines

Downloads Section

• Always use most recent ODT file to perform edits
• Remove the "Deprecated" tag from the LOCK file when editing the most recent ODT
• Upload new ODT files with an incremented revision number
• Mark older ODT files as "Deprecated"
• Set Lock File tag to "Deprecated" once new ODT is uploaded
• Briefly indicate changes and/or addressed issues in "Summary" field
• Always password-protect internal ODT documents and RAR files

Issues Section

• Start issues in "New" status if issue is a suggestion or problem steps aren't clear
• Start issues in "Accepted" when problem steps are clear
• Mark issue as "Started" only when work has begun on solving issue
• Normal order is "Started" -> "Fixed" -> "Verified"
• "Verified" (or Closed) status should be assigned by QA or different developer

QA Team Guidelines

• Select "Defect" tag for graphical glitches, crashes, etc
• Select "Typo" tag for grammatical errors and such
• Please be specific with reproduction steps
• Upload save state if necessary, using appropriate tags
• Please assign "Verified" tag to issue once moved to "Fixed"
• Please make sure you are not duplicating issues
