Bluz is a Open Source(GPL),Free media player which uses vlc libraries for video playback and bass for audio playback which makes it possible to play a wide range of video and audio formats. Apart from these, Major current features are tag editing,beautiful music library view + efficient music management through specially designed algorithms. It supports only "extended m3u" format for playlist as of now.

This is a pre - beta version mainly for testing these tasks:

1)The music Library Algorithm. 2)The Video Playback tasks (Since bluz uses vlc libraries which calls functions asynchornously,there is an explicit playback gap of appox 800 ms),so u might see some delay between two continous video playback). My main aim is to test 2) functionality .i.e if thats causing any unexpected behaviour on users machine.

This is a pre beta version and there are no implicit file associations yet. U have to add media through Media Library and than u can play anything.

There will be 2-3 more pre beta versions before final beta that will contain functionality/features of modern media players. And then finally ,I'll find ways to exploit resources on internet to enhance your experience . like music search engines,support open social,social music sites,Various avaliable music API's etc.
