The Blimpbots project includes three main components:
- A multi-camera object tracking framework written in C#
- A complete design for a bluetooth-controlled robotic blimp with accompanying firmware written in C
- A server/controller designed to automatically route the blimps in response to the object tracking system's feedback
Three graduate students at the University of Michigan, along with funding from the University's Grants for Research: Collaborative Spaces program, are responsible for the Blimpbots project.
