Introduction

Blender2Pixie is a Python script for blender to export your scene to the Pixie renderer.

Things you can export

  • Meshes
    • Export of Blender's internal UV coordinates, vertex colors and normals
  • Subdivision meshes (with edges creases)
    • Export of Blender's internal UV coordinates, vertex colors
  • Spotlights (Buffered or raytraced shadows)
    • Automatic generation of buffered shadow maps
    • Default spotlight shader tries to mimic the Blender's internal spotlight
  • Pointlights (Raytraced shadows only)
  • Coordinate systems
  • Particles (Hairs, Spheres, Meshes or Subdivision meshes)

Requirements

  • Blender 2.46 (RC5 minimun)
  • Python installed (the same version as Blender's Python interpreter)
    • Blender's Python interpreter must find the Python installation (at Blender startup, you should see "Checking for installed Python... Got it!" on the terminal).
