Something that has annoyed me for ages is that there's no good standalone, WYSIWYG blog editors for Linux desktops. So I'm aiming to sort that out, using technology familiar to me. I'm a Flash developer by day, Linux user by night, and a fan of Adobe AIR. Blogger has a Javascript API, and there's lots of Javascript rich-text editors, so this is the development plan:

First of all, an entirely online, plain text editor to get the connection sorted to Blogger.

Then, get a rich text editor integrated.

Then modify it so that it runs within the AIR environment.

Then add bells and whistles, and consider targetting similar environments (like Symbian S60 widgets).
