| Issue 29: | Track Monitor displays wrong track info if library not in default location… | |
| 1 person starred this issue and may be notified of changes. | Back to list |
What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. moved itunes library (entire library, not just music folder) to a different location/external drive 2. used itunes and quicksilver regularly 3. after a while, quicksilver's playing tracks (and assumedly other track info) did not match iTunes. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Expected to see "song A" but saw "Song totally not A" What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? b54 Please provide any additional information below. it seems, at first glance, that QS looks at the default Music/iTunes directory for the library itunes file(s). If I remove that directory altogether (rather than leave it in place and point iTunes to a different library by holding down Option as I lauch iTunes) , QS works for a while but as the two libraries n olonger match I get weird song track notifications. Ideally, it ought be able to support multiple libraries and select the one that is currently being played, I woudl think. BUt that can be confusing. Alternatively, QS might be able to query iTunes for the last-used library location and use that library? Not sure how the plug in is developed so I can't speak inteligibly on this. Best Y |
