What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Rosemary Shrestha tried to log in this page, but I could not. She used her cgiar login account and password she usually use for accessing cgiar.org plus CGxchange emails. But she got message like “You must enter valid CGIAR login and password to access this resource”.

2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Access with her current cgiar login

I removed the credentials for now. However, since I removed the login, people can't post comments.

So the comments are linked to the login to identify the person. We could plan to have like in blogs a place where the person put his name before posting the comment?
Otehrwise we need to put back a login that enables anyone to login using the CGxChange credentials (thier usual login for outlook)

The login is based on the CGIAR login?

I can, I just need to know what web-portal the CGIAR centers use to login. For example, the current system is tied with bioversity-owa.cgiar.org/exchange . So if there's another web portal *all* CGIAR members use I can tie it against that, without going through the cgXchange signup.

I advice that you discuss with Dario's team on this. They ahve been looking at OSS issues for the Central Registry.

As discussed from the open-source workshop we can use a combination of LDAP and Google to let people authenticate.

I will mark this as fixed since we adopted the multiple login solution, with the commenting system from disqus.
