bConnected is designed for university students to use on their Google TV and provides access to class schedules, student organizations, on campus living, and events. Beyond just a service-based app, the core of bConnected is a social networking application.

Students are able to see classmates and shared courses; instructors and other courses they teach; fellow student organization members and shared interests; and their neighbors in the residence halls. Using our back-end systems, we create the links to tie all those people together and provide the students a unique view into their campus community, allowing them to meet new people and ultimately "be connected" with those around them.

For a working demo of the app, download bConnected for Google TV from the Android Market (https://market.android.com/details?id=edu.bsu.android.gtv.apps.bconnected) and use the following credentials:

In addition, we've also created a version for tablets and phones. This version of the app can be found in the Android Market at https://market.android.com/details?id=edu.bsu.android.apps.bconnected. At this time, the project is not available for open source, but we are working on it. The same demo credentials mentioned above will work for this app as well.
