Introduction

Welcome to BBeB Binder Wiki pages. BBeB Binder is a simple program to make creating Broadband eBook's (AKA BBeB files) easy.

The goal of the BBeB Binder project is to create a free and easy to use program that gives everybody the ability to create the absolute best quality eBooks for the Sony Reader (and any other reader that reads the BBeB format). The quality of these books should rival commercial books for sale on the Sony CONNECT site. These book features will eventually grow to include:

• Reflowable documents.
• Full control of eBook metadata.
• Automatically created table of contents.
• Images (bitmaps).
• Vector graphics (possibly converted from SVG).
• Headers & footers.
• Cover Pages and images.
• Aesthetic chapter headings.
• Links within the document.

In other words; if the BBeB format supports a feature then you should be able to use it.

Additionally we are striving to make it trivial to convert eBooks from Project Gutenberg with little or no manual editing.
