Back40 Computing (B40C)
This project is a collection of fast, efficient GPU primitives. Hopefully the fastest. The goal of this work is to push the "speed of light" for stream hardware, and then attempt to distill what we learned, namely:
"Back Forty". The Back Forty is a colloquialism for the furthest, most remote 40-acre parcel of land on a farm. In particular, the nickname was given to particular Hollywood studio backlot owned by RKO/Desilu Pictures that was used to construct epic movie sets. The Back Forty is where you go to get your big work done. It's where you go to make King Kong. SubprojectsSRTS Radix Sorting
