awe6 is game inverted: a scalable, flexible and intuitive framework for the rapid development of quality games.

Adopting an inversion-of-control + entity-component concept awe6 comes with both big ideas and batteries included: assets, inputs, audio, session, scenes and preloading are handled "out of the box".

Developed in Haxe, awe6 offers a unified approach towards developing games targeting Flash, HTML5, desktop, Android and iPhone.

Current Status

RC 1.3.522 was posted to haxelib on March 4 2013.

2012's focus was on PublicPresentations: awe6 featured at both DroidCon 2012 in Berlin and Haxe WWX 2012 in Paris. 2013 efforts will focus on example games templates.
