- Fade outside combat (after say 20 seconds)
- Popup on shift, this is for the popups only.
I think this would be a useful feature because running around in alt-z mode is really nice so something close to that in the regular interface but with the minimap showing would rock. This becomes easier in 2.1 with better alpha support.
Buttons
- Plugin architecture so buttons can be more customized.
- Buttons could handle inventory for certain items like buff consumables, pots, ammo etc.
- Instance / Boss settings would be nice. This requires some kind of general ACE mechanism for determining who we are fighting.
- Buff detection: grey out buff items if user already has that buff. This is a lot of work involving matching buff type with items that give it.
- Deal with charges: display them & use smaller charged items first.
Crafting Buttons
- This is a good idea, but the crafting API is just so cruddy...
Drag Button
- A button that you can directly drag items onto from inventory without opening up config
Mount Button
Pet Food Button
- Custom food blend for your pets food preferences.
- Maybe have an unhappiness outline so you know to feed the poor thing b4 it runs away.
Shaman Totem Buttons
- Need to add indicator of active status
Always popup option
- I think this would be a great button specific option, for buttons such as combined mana regen, where you go through different pots, mana gems etc in a fight. Allowing a single button to remain expanded would allow MUCH quicker clicking through these.
More Better PT3
- PT3 use is pretty shallow at the moment. This can be extended to use PT3 sets directly instead of custom AutoBar sets. This gives AutoBar access to sets in PT3 from other mods like Baggins for instance.
- This would also entail some PT3 browsing & picking code.
- Ideally PT3 would be able to handle metadata to facilitate this. Theres a discussion on PT3 about this.
Data versioning & verification
- Version AutoBar data & explicitly upgrade & leave behind obsolete stuff. This is now implemented.
- Verify the data is not corrupt
- Hopefully this would avoid people needing to delete the AutoBar WTF files instead of just using Reset on the profile page and/or /script ReloadUI()
Would LOVE to see Autobar actually IN Fubar to get the buttons off my screen and up and out of the way.
I've looked over the documentation and not found this, so I'll add it to the wishlist;
is it / would it be possible to call a function of the autobar in a macro?
I don't know enough about the post 2.0 UI changes to know if this is impossible, so apologies if is indeed excluded by blizzards automation changes.
my specific application is to replace an eat and shadowmeld macro on a night elf that I currently have to constantly rewrite as I have different food available, I'd like to ideally be able to have this macro call the autobar food button and then not have to edit it.
Wonderful addon, thanks for putting the time and effort into it! :)
I have also been looking at a way to click an autobar button from a macro
I love Autobar... my only wish? is to have Autobar (not autobarS) back... I for one HATE the multi-bar system and the inability to merge it back EASILY into one bar.
Why was this simplicity removed? Please give me back my SINGLE Autobar :(
I love this mod the way it was... now I wanna stab out my eyeballs trying to 'fix' what wasn't broken.
If your comment disapears from here, then it was either added to the list above or implemented in the latest development version etc. See the Usage section for details.
I want to use macros with auto bar hook it up imo
racial abilities category please.
Would it be possible to change the behavior of the base healthstone button apply the largest healthstone in inventory when you click it (keep the popups and everything, just change the behavior of the collapsed button). Effectively doing this: #showtooltip master healthstone /use item:22105 /use item:22104 /use item:22103
Also, would it be possible to modify the warlock bar to cast fel domination when summoning a demon with a modifier (shift/alt/ctrl)?
Could we get a raid icon marking button?
Great addon, I'm a big fan
I love this addon, it's made my life so much easier. I break it down to just the main bar, I don't use the class bars since everything is keybound or with another addon. but for just mount, food and pot usage, it's very very slick.
one big suggestion, a toggle to use conjured items first or last. With my mage, I want to use up all the food I find and loot first, to get it out of my bags, then use up the conjured items. With my other toons, I'd want to use the conjured food first, as I always carry around a bunch of food, but when I get conjured food, I'll prefer that over food I paid for and will be good for tomorrow.
I love AutoBar but unfortunately cannot get it to work AT ALL with the new patch! Can anyone help me get any version working?
You need a better way to release your betas, perhaps tagging prior releases with things like, "pre-drag and drop break" Mine was working so well till i updated... AutoBar tried to add a new macro to my "buffs not included" category, and there was only one reset button. and it reset ALL of the categories, not just the one button. Not just the one macro. BUT ALL CATEGORIES.
"would it be possible to modify the warlock bar to cast fel domination when summoning a demon with a modifier "
Second that, I figured right click make more sense kind like the Fortitude/Prayer of Fortitude.
Would it possible to add a button that will access the in game equipment manager. Thanks.. your the best
Ditto Sgefri; I’m interested in a dynamic button/category for all defined equipment sets. Tired of wasting autobar positions on equipment sets.
