autelicdemo is a Google App Engine application being developed as a demo of a system proposed by the Autelic non-profit association.

The intention is to make it easier for non-technical users to connect to other people and information using "Information and Communications Technologies" (ICT) such as computers, Internet, Web and Mobile Data networks.

This application represents the server side of the application where more advanced users ("tutors") can set-up and help end users to achieve these tasks. It is foreseen that the end users will access the media types of interest to them via a simplified UI on a simple device (such as a touchscreen web tablet).

We start off with digital photos, this service (when working) will filter a user's e-mails and capture and aggregate photos and links to digital photos/albums and provide a simple (Javascript/Flash) viewer for a novice end user.
