People go to conferences. When a company reaches a certain size, knowing about what conferences people go to and deciding who gets to go where can quickly become a hassle.

Attender aims to address this with a simple Flex app with a Rails backend.

It's initially developed as a case for Aslak and Børre's Flex/Rails tutorial at RailsConf Europe 2007, but we're planning to deploy it in our own organisations. Hopefully others will too.
