Introduction

Installing AstroPlot on Windows is rather straight-forward. Please read the following instructions if you are unclear on what to do.

Details

1. Download AstroPlot installer from the Downloads page.

2. Locate the downloaded archive and unpack it to a temporary location.

3. Start AstroPlotSetup.exe

4. Follow the onscreen instructions.

AstroPlot and the .Net Framework

AstroPlot needs Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 Runtime to be installed in order to work properly. The installer for AstroPlot will attemt to download and install the .Net Framework automatically if it is missing from your system; if this fails, you will have to install the .Net Framework manually. For instructions on how to do that, go to .Net Framework 2.0 download page.
