Our objective is to facilitate Asterisk support for BSD flavors of Unix, including FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD, and Mac OS X.
This site is intended to be a clearing house for BSD platform support for the Asterisk VOIP pbx. It allows developers to more directly share changes to the Asterisk source code that solve issues specific to BSD Unix.
We also intend to collaborate on a group of ports which one day will be inserted into the FreeBSD ports tree.
The idea is to have a scratch place were all interested people can cooperate to make it easier to run Asterisk software on FreeBSD.
