The Public Extendable Tookit is a collection of functions that are supposed to make some programming efforts easier.

It includes an own base class for display elements, a rudimentary skinning framework, some AIR features, application base classes for the desktop, web and the BlackBerry PlayBook, a green-threading API, an operations API and an old media framework that is to be replaced soon!

I am now working on version 2.0 of the PET. The previous version has been branched to "1.x". The trunk now contains the version 2.0.
