issue 52 (Problems loading file) reported by jadorman   -   What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. follow basic steps to load mar2300 file 2. 3. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I expect the file to be loaded into the program. Instead I get a "loading" statement at the bottom of the program and then it crashes. What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? I tried all three of the windows programs and this issue continued to occur. Please provide any additional information below.

issue 51 (Wildcard matches) reported by joshualande   -   Something I was thinking of a while ago: we should be able to select input files using wild card expressions. For example, if you want to load in all mar3450 files in some folder C:/data/, you should be able to specify them with C:/data/*.3450 whereas currently you just specify the folder and it loads all files in the folder. The reason why wild card matches are more powerful is because you can do things like C:/data/*_pattern.3450 and only select some of the files in the folder. Of course, both folder names and pattern matches should work. This shouldn't be too hard using python's glob module. Maybe one day I will get around to it :) Josh

issue 50 (Add option to output *.dat files in d-space or 2-theta) commented on by joshualande   -   Can we continue this discussion on the discussion group. I created a thread where I answered your question: http://groups.google.com/group/area-diffraction-machine/browse_thread/thread/5e5c2e7f5e57f6d0 I mainly ask to do this because it is more searchable for people with the same question in the future.

issue 50 (Add option to output *.dat files in d-space or 2-theta) commented on by joshualande   -   Hi Matt. I am not sure exactly what data you want to output. You can integrate and cake (as of version 2) diffraction data in 2theta by going to the integrate menubar and selecting 'Work in 2theta' instead of 'Work in Q'. Currently, there is no way to cake or integrate in D space. Will integrating in 2theta work good enough for you? Josh

issue 50 (Add option to output *.dat files in d-space or 2-theta) reported by MattGV   -   It would be great if you could also output the data in d-space or 2-theta. We're using Match! to do our pattern matching and it can only import files of this type.
