Buy the APM 2 autopilot fully assembled

APM is available fully assembled with a range of options from 3D Robotics. The base version with GPS is $199, which is all that is necessary to fly an aircraft. You can also add optional extras such as an airspeed sensor and/or two-way telemetry kit there, too.

And get something to fly it in!

You'll also need at least a five-channel RC radio setup, a soldering iron, a mini USB cable and of course something that flies! We're partial to the Hobbyking Bixler (for beginning RC pilots) and SkyFun delta wing (shown--for expert pilots only) ourselves. Both come Ready To Fly, with servos and motors installed.
