Ardu-D2 is an open source initiative to support the creation of an Astromech robotic control system. It is a system using Arduino-based microcontrollers to provide effective customized control for lights, servos, and other electronics. We are creating this software and hardware in the spirit of allowing users to create a fully functioning control system with standard off-the-shelf parts commonly available that can be created by the home hobbyist with a minimal about of tools required.
