Geowiki provides a general wiki facility where each page may have 0 or more Google map attributes. Each attribute may be a point, line, etc.

Objectives

This project creates a general wiki facility where each page may have 0 or more Google map attributes. These attributes may be points, marker types, lines, etc. The overall notion is to have a general mechanism to associate geo data with wiki pages.
The facility offers an advanced UI based on YAHOO YUI widgets with a view to providing an exceptional user experience across a wide range of browsers, screen sizes, etc.
Wiki editing will be based on a WYSIWYG editor (YUI RTE).
