An afterburner is an additional component added to some jet engines, primarily those on military supersonic aircraft. Its purpose is to provide a temporary increase in thrust, both for supersonic flight and for takeoff. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Afterburner

Appengine-afterburner project contains some reusable appengine functionality to speed up application development.

Current Status: pre-alpha. We're trying to understand project requirements and see if there's enough interest in the project.
