The official data reduction package for TripleSpec is spextool and there is a version specifically written for use at APO. This tool is excellent for stellar spectroscopy and good for extended emission that is <<42", but is not an ideal tool for "long-slit spectroscopy" of the sort commonly used in Galactic star forming regions and HH objects. The IRAF pipeline is a semi-useful alternative.
