Device(s): Asus TF101, TF300
Android: 3.2 and up

When I turn on Google Photo Sync on my tablet(s) it creates an awful lot of albums that often contain 1 photo. This is already frustrating, but what makes it worse is that the date-format is not consistent: m/d/y, y/m/d, Sept 3rd 2012.

I'm having a REALLY difficult time finding an album because I ended up having hundreds(!) of them. And most of those albums consist of only one photo! It basically makes the entire app useless: I don't take pictures with my tablet, so the camera album is empty and Instant Upload end up between Feb and Jan (some 20 meter of scrolling to the right)

The 'weird' thing is that on phones (with the same android version, jellybean in this case) it does NOT show these useless albums.

So please: make the gallery experience the same on tablets as on phones.

PS: If I posted this issue in the wrong place, please let me know where it would do some good :)

I have an Asus Transformer Infinity running 4.1. I am a photographer and have a ton of photos stored in the various Google properties. I also have an Android phone.

I too find this same thing to be a real mess and a real pain. To make matters worse, you can't drag/drop photos/videos onto others in the web version of Google+ to combine them into albums.
