Im feeling a little defeated here posting for help but I don't seem to getting anywhere. Ive just gotten my HTC Hero rooted and this app running no problem. However when my laptop connects to my phone, It dosen't seem to be able to connect to the internet properly. It is currently running Win7 64bit RC.

I can ping its IP on the network with the phone and the phones IP no problem, however I can't seem to get any external WAN access. Just the ominous and annoying "Limited Connectivity" icon in the bottom right of the taskbar.

As far as i'm concerned, its clearly a client problem, I just can't for the life of me see what exactly it is.

I am trying to get my sprint hero rooted and im having problem with it getting rooted. Can you please guide me. I would really appreciate it.
