dude,followed all the rules and got on the first try,however f got jf v1.51 and phone went nuts so did this again cause hear would solve prob but got to image loader and all good till end now stuck,........help..........it pro is i did format but notice no chane
I followed all the steps and tried everything I could think of but when it comes to installing the "Hard SPL" it will not take the update because it says that the files do not exsist in my sdcard directory. Any suggestions?
hi, i used this ,,how to" to root my phone, flash custom rom, radio etc. everything worked fine until now, i want to do a nandroid backup but when i am in recovery mode, on the top of screen i see these words:
Android system recovery utility E:Cant open /cache/recovery/command
what i should do? im using JF 1.51 CBR43 ADP

!!!! all i ever get is "E:Cant open /cache/recovery/command" im so over ROOT! i tried to unroot but even when i try to do it i can still reboot even after i reload the DREAIMG.nbh file! PLEASE HELP!
Rename the update file "update" instead of "update.zip"

i did whatever written but my phone is bricked now coz this instruction is at wrong place it must be after the rom update
No gemerekli you have to update the SPL before flashing the rom.

Where's the code for HardSPL? I've been able to find code for just about everything else including the Engineering SPL, but the HardSPL source is suspiciously absent. Don't think I'll install something that has bricked so many phones without checking it out first...and thanks for the great info!
Did this on a rooted Mytouch that was running CM. Phone now makes a nice (if light) doorstop <grumble>.

i got a spanish G1 and i am not bring able to install the hard spl. it isn't rooted.
Also bricked my MyTouch? 3G. MT3G/Magic users DO NOT HAVE Hard/Danger/Death/Haykuro or any other 'special' SPL, and the 4 mentioned are strictly for Dreams. IF YOU FLASH ONE OF THOSE TO YOUR PHONE YOU WILL BRICK.

okay everytime i try to install the update.zip (the Hardspl) it says no signature (5 files) nerification failed installaion aborted, ne1 know what to do?

I had previously modded my Das Keyboard firmware to elide all instances of two consecutive particular vowels, and I don't mean 'a', 'o', or 'u'. Something about an unspeakably insecure browser from some far-off evil empire of slothware that shall not be named.
I really trd to type the plural of lady, but the same thing happened to it that happened to the past participle of 'try'.

Same issue E: No signature(5 files) E: verification failed. This is the error while i am installing original G1 spl. Any help would be highly appreciable..
Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but will this SPL work on any phone?
