I am extremely pleased and excited about this app that you have built for Android+growl. I would love to be included in any beta testing for future revisions. I have the SDK installed and can relay whatever you need. running 10.6.2 Snow Leopard

Comment by parmed...@gmail.com, Sep 9, 2010

I would love to see this combined with android2cloud so that notifications could be received anywhere (as long as both PC and phone are connected to the internet) without having to connect the phone directly to the PC.

Comment by CastSpellar, Sep 9, 2010

I was thinking exactly that parmedius... except that android2cloud "is not designed for sending a lot of user content via the messages. Rather, it should be used to tell the application that there is new data on the server, so that the application can fetch it." as it is mentioned in the project page here. Additionally, only devices running Android 2.2 are compliant with android2cloud.

However I would love that this could be possible...

If I can be of any service...I'm also a mobile developer... =D

Btw, comments on here are not the best way to get my attention, I just saw the first comment from february now :) Yeah, contributions are welcome, just talk to me (e.g. by e-mail or gtalk) so I can coordinate what each person is doing.

Is this project still in working progress. I would really love to have the next release. Texting and making calls from my desktop would be awesome..
