issue 28 (Photoshop Palette (Layer list -- see screenshot) not blackli...) commented on by recover89   -   Hi. I think the problem is that you have spaces in your Blacklist line, before the stars. It now tries to find windows with the title " *", instead of "*" which means it can have any title. Maybe I should add something about this on the wiki page. So your Blacklist line should be: Blacklist=*|TaskSwitcherWnd,*|TaskSwitcherOverlayWnd,*|Photoshop,*|PSViewC,*|OWL.TabGroup,*|OWL.TabGroupCluster,*|OWL.Palette,*|OWL.ToolbarContainer,*|OWL.Dock Let me know if it works. :)

issue 28 (Photoshop Palette (Layer list -- see screenshot) not blackli...) reported by pitu.cosmin   -   What steps will reproduce the problem? 1.Edit AltDrag.ini, ensuring : "Blacklist=*|TaskSwitcherWnd,*|TaskSwitcherOverlayWnd,*|Photoshop, *|PSViewC, *|OWL.TabGroup, *|OWL.TabGroupCluster, *|OWL.Palette, *|OWL.ToolbarContainer, *|OWL.Dock" 2.Open Photoshop 3.Dragging the layer list is not blacklisted, can be moved around. Thus a shortcut like "Alt+Shift+Group icon" (Group From Layers with custom name :- ) ) is not usable, since AltDrag intercepts the Left Alt (as set in the ini) and triggers a move event instead of the regular click. 4.Upon Win+D-ing, the palette is back in its place. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Blacklisting the palette group doesn't work. What version of AltDrag are you using? On what operating system? 0.8.0.0, Windows Vista SP1. Please provide any additional information below. I've attached a screenshot of the palette and the output from WindowFinder, upon which I've based my blacklist rules from above. Just my thoughts, I used to pause AltDrag's process before the Blacklist feature. And the right click minimize action is outstanding ! Thank you for making my Windows experience a little more *NIX-y :-), keep up the great work !!

Roadmap (A list of features I want to implement) Wiki page commented on by recover89   -   Hi. I have actually tried to implement the scrolling feature, but I failed. :( I didn't know that Taekwindow had that feature. I will take a look at their source code and try again. I could implement a feature which makes windows Always-on-top. What would you think of a new mouse action for that? Then you can configure MB5=AlwaysOnTop to make mouse button 5 toggle it? I think that is the way to go instead of a keyboard shortcut. I'm glad you like AltDrag. Thanks for some good suggestions. :)

Roadmap (A list of features I want to implement) Wiki page commented on by pitu.cosmin   -   I wanted to request a feature for blacklisting, have updated from 0.7 to 0.8 yesterday and it works like a charm (wanted it for Photoshop). One nifty feature that could be implemented would be the feature that made me use Taekwindow a while back (before finding the customization of altdrag way better) : the Linux feature of scrolling within any window ("use the scroll wheel on the window under the cursor, instead of the currently focused window."). I use another tool that makes windows always on top (AlwaysOnTopMaker) with a Alt+Ctrl+T key combination, maybe a Always on Top integration would also be nice. Just my few extra tips for improving this already superbly written software, thank you for this Swiss Army knife of window goodness, keep up the great work !

r199 (Added ability to configure which should keys trigger draggin...) committed by recover89   -   Added ability to configure which should keys trigger dragging, resizing, etc. HookWindows once again only triggers on windows which have the WS_CAPTION style. It's safer this way. Re-added minimal keyboard hook to hook x64, I forgot that it need to be able to check the shift key. Added macro to remove some dead code from hooks x64. Revamped the blacklist loading code, now with fewer malloc calls.

r197 (Removing WM_WINDOWPOSCHANGING from being able to trigger Hoo...) committed by recover89   -   Removing WM_WINDOWPOSCHANGING from being able to trigger HookWindows since it worked very badly. Now only WM_ENTERSIZEMOVE can trigger HookWindows. Removed the checks in HookWindows if the window is being alt-dragged or alt-resized, these activities should never be able to happen at the same time anyway. This also removes the need for HookWindows_x64 to hook to the keyboard and mouse. HookWindows now checks if the window is fullscreen before subclassing. Added Russian translation, thanks to Gluek!

issue 26 (Shell_NotifyIcon(NIM_ADD/NIM_MODIFY) failed) commented on by recover89   -   This happens sometimes because explorer hasn't fully initialized the taskbar when AltDrag tries to add its tray icon. I have improved the code a bit for the next version, so hopefully the error shouldn't appear then. A simple workaround is to use the "Hide tray" option. It won't try to add the tray icon then and the error won't occur.

Error: Es wurde versucht, auf ein Token zuzugreifen, das nicht vorhanden ist. (1008) Failed to update tray icon. (The message translates to something like "Tried to access a token that doesn't exist.") I don't get this error when I start AltDrag manually and despite this error AltDrag seems to work. By the way: I'm using Windows 7 which might be the problem with AltDrag 0.8b2.
