AltDrag allows you to drag windows with the mouse when pressing the alt key. You can use the middle or right mouse button to resize windows. If you press the shift key while you drag or resize, the window will stick to other windows. You can double-click a window to maximize it. You can double-click with the middle mouse button to roll-up windows. Fullscreen windows, such as games, will not be dragged or resized.

You can also enable the ability to use the shift key when normally moving windows, or a feature that makes windows automatically stick to the screen borders and the taskbar without needing to press shift.

Updates

2009-09-07: Released 0.8 beta 2. I am releasing this as a beta but it is still the most recommended version available. I have made some major changes and fixes, not to mention a few new features. First of all, I have completely redone the feature previously called ExperimentalFeatures. I renamed it to HookWindows since I no longer consider it experimental and I encourage you to try it out. A few other new things are AutoStick, an improved version of StickyScreen, and RMBMinimize which makes your right mouse button minimize windows. I have also done a lot of fixes to multi-monitor support. New language: Galician by Alexander De Sousa. Users of 0.7 and 0.8b1 won't be automatically notified of this version. I plan to support 64-bit windows with HookWindows for the stable 0.8.

2009-04-24: Released 0.7. This version adds the ability to roll-up windows by double-clicking with the middle mouse button. I've also added a new feature called StickyScreen which makes windows automatically stick to the screen borders without needing shift. This only works with the Alt button unless you enable ExperimentalFeatures. I have also fixed a few bugs with ExperimentalFeatures, so it's working really well now, give it a try. In addition to that I've fixed a couple of small bugs, including an error message that sometimes popped up if you had AltDrag on autostart. I've also updated the installer, so upgrading should be a breeze.

2009-02-12: Released 0.6. This version fixes some small bugs, most notably one which made AltDrag ignore the -hide switch. It also adds the sticky behavior to resizing. There's a new language as well, Korean, thanks to 김장환 Jang-hwan Kim! I hope you find that the update checker was useful, let me know if you have feedback or questions, either via email or post in the forum (no registration required)! You can use the installer to overwrite the old version, there is no need to uninstall the old version in advance.
