MaemoPublishr
Maemo PublishrDownload the latest (0.5) version from Downloads I have ported the publishr GUI to run on Maemo platform (a.k.a Nokia Internet tablets - n770, n800, n810). This application will let you publishr your images from internet tablet to your Flickr/Picasaweb account. This will be very useful for n800 and n810 devices, because they have in-build camera. This way you can take a picture with an n8x0 device and directly upload it to your online albums at Flickr/Picasaweb. This is pure python app and has no dependencies, except standard python2.5 runtime. (P.S. If you like this app, check out maemo-blogger that I have put together) Here are some screenshots from my scratchbox:

Sweet! I just installed and uploaded a test - I love that you have all the Flickr options!
to have a preview of photos being published will be a good thing :)
thanks !
Nice app... it'd be cool if it could upload all the photos in a folder in one shot.... doing it one picture at a time could get to be a drag.
Thanks guys for comments. I have added your requests under "Issues" and will consider them in future versions. Feel free to add more bug reports/feature requests yourself by clicking on the "Issues" tab above.
I agree with other comments, nice app, and useful requested features. Just some remarks about the user interface. I'm a GUI specialist and I will be pleased to help you if you want.

So do I need python 2.5 loaded onto my n810 tablet? Do you know where I could get a copy and how easy it'd be to install?
thanks

O WAIT, nevermind. I found this:

KTHXBAI!
Neat app, but pretty much a non-starter if it is limited to uploading a single photo at a time and won't allow uploads to go w/o a "set" specified. The deb is broken too if it doesn't pull in the python dependencies through the app manager like all the other official apps do, one other thing I noticed is that it doesn't use the standard hildon(?) file navigation widgets which means you are limited to browsing local and mounted storage which means no access to network shares or bluetooth tethered devices. I imagine that most people uploading images to flickr from their IT are uploading pictures from their cellphone camera over bluetooth...
