In case you are wondering from where does it's name come from. It's taken from the Hawaii gods culture:

"The actual gods who created everything, and keeps everything working"

This does not reflect the meaning of the framework, but rather it's targetted goal (which will probably never be achived, but only targetted at) which is to help you start developing and continue developing ASP.NET apps, making it easier to do the right thing.
