What steps will reproduce the problem? i am not 100% what caused the issue or if it can be recreated, but it seemed to have started after using my homun to lead a MVP away from my dead party mates. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? expected, continue to protect me and my party mates. what happened instead, homun 100% stopped protecting me and just sat there while i was being attacked, alt+t did nothing but make it move a few cells away and then to my side, and when party mates were being attacked the homun would do nothing until the monster was dead then make a attempt to run over and kill it, get half way there, figure out the monster was already dead, and then returned to me where he again would not protect me at all, Vap/recall and changing maps did not help. What version of the product are you using? v0.9.6.47 Please provide any additional information below. location was Endless Tower, MVP was Samurai Specter, homun was a Amistr, the whole party was on my friends list. i will try to recreate the situation but i may not be able to try again until the weekend. thanks for your work on this AI, it is very good. |

This intermittent problem happened for me with New_Aether_v0.9.3.39_BETA. Also, sometimes the homunculus would go fight something and not come back. It would stay visible on the screen and even if monsters came near it would do nothing. Because it is intermittent, there is no 100% reliable way to recreate the problem each time. Kindly try the new version (v0.9.7.51) and you may reduce the SightRange to be 12 just to make sure and see if you can recreate the problem. I'll reopen the ticket status until I'm 100% sure that the problem is fixed or can't be recreated.

This seems to be happening with the latest release too (0.9.8.64). http://f.imagehost.org/0650/screenshot.jpg The homunculus stops walking (it's set to patrol on idle) and attacking (Tact list is set to be aggressive against smokie). That's a great find there. Judging from your traceai it seems that the AI is considering the vanilmirth itself as an enemy. I'll go and check to find the flaws code.

The issue has reappeared, less frequently than before. I noticed it to happen when I move the alchemist by one single step after some idle time. Homunculus moves toward the alchemist and gets stuck. Not sure if this is still related to this issue, but since the effect is the same, I'm posting this here. In attachment some traceAI from a short session. The issue happened on the line with timestamp "12:04:17", and the file didn't get updated for the whole time the homunculus was stuck, until I moved some steps, 8 minutes later. |
