NES Dragon Warrior 4

Team members: adelikat and DarkKobold

This is an improvement to my current published movie. I've got several route changes, and new strats. But most importantly this will take advantage of lua scripting to greatly increase the amount of luck manipulation possible. The key will be doing more unlikely events, and not using any frames in order to manipulate luck.

Status

April 11, 2010: Still trying to get a good lua script for the 2nd battle.

This is an improvement over the published movie.

November 7, 2009: Bleh, I tried to make some progress but this game is so tedious to do on a highly optimized level. The characters speed is so variable.

Status

Currently barely into level 1. I have found some techniques that will improve movement that should add up to a decent improvement.

All 3 movies have been done and completed. However, I intend to do a new Maria any% run at some point; using some minor tricks I discovered doing the 100% movie. Currently this is low on the priority list.

NES Solomon's Key

Low priority, Randil is interested in this run too. I hope we collaborate on it.
