(When zoomed out, tick marks look too tall) reported by lorinh
- When we zoom out, the tick marks look like they are too tall, even though
their heights are not changing. There is a poor aesthetic effect when the
gap between ticks gets smaller.
Maybe look at the gap-height ratio and adjust accordingly.
