ActiveShipping is a new unified Ruby API for calculating shipping costs. It will start out simply providing a unified API for the individual carriers, but will eventually have many more features.

ActiveShipping has been released by New Medio as part of an effort to open-source reusable parts from their integrated Website Interaction Manager known as Reach. For more information about New Medio go to http://www.newmedio.com/
