Device (phone) brand: ZTE
Device (phone) model: Blade
Android OS version: 2.3.7, CM7
App version: 2.8.6

Is there a way to add Microphone volume (or rather sensitivity) to a2dpvolume?
I'm not even sure if there is a setting on CM7 for microphone volume, but
changing this for Bluetooth/A2DP and in case of a2dp also device specific would
be useful since the microphone is too low in my car installation.

Hmmm. Not sure I can do anything for that but I will take a look. Basically
you want to amplify the phones microphone stream while connected.

This app offers microphone gain on HD2 devices only or on kernels which support
microphone gain. The market says this app is not compatible on my ZTE Blade.
What is this about kernels supporting microphone gain? Maybe you can see how it
is done..
