Chris DiBona

Chris DiBona is the open source programs manager at Google, where his team oversees license compliance and supports the open source developer community through programs such as the Google Summer of Code and through the release of open source software projects and patches.

Dion Almaer

Dion Almaer works in the Google Developer Programs group, which enables him to spend his life dabbling in developer facing technology. He works with teams such as Gears to make the Web a better place, and development on it more productive. He is also the co-founder of AJAXian.com, the leading source of the AJAX community. He enjoys writing, and speaking at events around the world, and was co-author of Pragmatic AJAX.

Jens Trapp

Jens Trapp joined Google in Hamburg in July 2007. As a Customer Solution Engineer he helps clients to integrate products and technologies such as Google AdWords, Google Maps or Google Base by using API's. Jens studied mathematics with special interest in computer graphics. He obtained a PhD from the University of Göttingen in coorporation with the German Aerospace Institute. Prior to Google Jens worked for Sun Microsystems as a Software Architect on Java and XML projects and technologies.

Mike Jennings

Mike Jennings is a Developer Advocate for Google. Canadian by birth and British by nationality he is often mistaken for an American (which is okay with him).

Mike started programming in 1980 and hasn't stopped yet.

Patrick Chanezon

Patrick Chanezon is Developer Advocate at Google since 2005. He built and grew developer ecosystems for OpenSocial, Checkout and AdWords APIs. Previously he has been working on portals, blogs and syndication feeds at Sun Microsystems, AOL and Netscape. He's the co-founder of the ROME - Atom and RSS utilities in java open source project and the OSSGTP (Open Source Get Together Paris) group.

Jean-Laurent Wotton

Jean-Laurent is a Customer Solutions Engineer and has been working in the Google London office for the past two years.

Jean-François Wassong

Jean-François Wassong is a sales engineer working with advertisers to help them make the best out of Google APIs, his focus is mainly on maps and AdWords API.

His previous activities were related to pre-sales and project management in the search and document management industry.

Sumit Chandel

Sumit is a Developer Programs Engineer working on the Google Web Toolkit (GWT) project. You'll find him posting on the GWT forums, reaching out to developers at conferences, or perhaps grabbing a snack at the Google cafe. When he's not thinking about GWT, he likes to play Tekken competitively and tour the globe.

Russell Middleton

Russell is a Customer Solutions Engineer, based in the Google London office. He is responsible for driving adoption and supporting Google's Consumer Products, with a special focus on Google Maps and Google Earth.

Thomas Steiner

Thomas is a Customer Solutions Engineer with Google. His main interests these days are JavaScript, Ajax, (Google) APIs, and the social Web. In the past he has led several open source projects, like REST Describe & Compile (code generation for REST-based APIs) and APIlity (PHP client library for the AdWords API). Maxime Tiran

Maxime is a Google Customer Solutions Engineer. He has extensive experience working with search engines and Web2.0 applications. Prior to Google, he spent 6 years working in the Silicon Valley.

Aaron Boodman

Aaron is a tech lead on Gears and has been an active member of the web development community for many years. At Google, he has worked on web applications such as Blogger and Gmail. On the side, he wrangles the Greasemonkey project.

Nicola Ferioli

Nicola is a Customer Solutions Engineer and has been working at Google for the past two years.

Chewy Trewhella

Chewy is a Developer Advocate at Google. His job is to make technical things accessible and relevant to technical and non-technical people. He is particularly knowledgeable about Google's APIs and webmaster programmes. He has a BEng in Software Engineering, and he's been with Google since November 2005. When he's not at work, he likes to play the banjo, and sleep.

Mano Marks

Mano Marks is a Developer Advocate at Google, providing developers help with the Google App Engine and Google Geo APIs. Before Google, he worked in the non-profit, human services sector for a decade doing database development. He has a Masters in History and in Information Management and Systems. He regards himself as a recovering historian.

Itai Raz

Itai Raz is the lead engineer for the Visualization API product at Google. Itai joined Google from iRows, which he co-founded, after holding senior engineering positions in various start-up companies.

Markus Mühlbauer

Markus is Manager Engineering in Google's R&D center in Munich. He opened this site in Munich and has been attracting engineering talent to add innovation "made in Germany" to Google's global projects.

Ian Fette

Ian Fette is a Product Manager at Google, where he works on the Google Chrome team focusing on security and the browser infrastructure. He is also the product manager for the anti-phishing and anti-malware teams at Google, focused on discovering harmful sites online and making that data available for use, such as in Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. Ian holds a Masters degree from Carnegie Mellon University's School of Computer Science, as well a bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Michigan.
