Nikhil Chandhok is a product manager on the YouTube syndication team and has been involved with YouTube syndication products across web, mobile, tv and gaming. Previously he was product manager for Google Blog Search and spent some time on the Google Maps team. Prior to that he was a founding member of the Enterprise Storage product line at Microsoft.
Cuong joined YouTube as an early software engineer focusing on site scalability. Currently, he manages the Core Product Engineering group, which implements user-facing features for the www.youtube.com web site.
Michael Fortson is the architect for the Internet side of Qik, where he is focused on delivering live mobile video pretty much anywhere a video can possibly be played. Previously he co-founded the development agency Medium One in Toronto, and more recently worked at YackPack, a browser-based voice communications service.
Brian Glick is a Product Manager at YouTube, focused on user channels, the homepage, social connections, and sharing. Brian spent time in Seattle managing several initiatives for MSN, but originally hails from the ice fields of Canada, with a background in teh internets (ed note: intentional misspellings). Brian frequently debated with his 5th grade math teacher, driving her to retire.
John Harding is an engineering manager at YouTube, focused on bringing the YouTube experience to the rest of the web, as well as other devices like mobile phones and televisions. Before joining Google, John was a lead in the Xbox Advanced Technology Group, helping developers make great games for the Xbox and Xbox 360.
Gunthar Hartwig is User Experience Lead for Syndication and Upload & Management tools. Previous to joining YouTube, he was involved with a wide variety of other interactive video projects, including producing net-connected DVD titles for Hollywood studios and developing authoring tools for Blu-ray Disc.
Brad is CEO and Co-Founder of Animoto, a web application that, with a click of a button, lets anyone create professional-looking video content using their own images and music. Prior to co-founding Animoto, he spent eight years with Onyx Software in a variety of Director and Management roles leading the consulting and sales teams. Brad currently resides in Oakland with his wife and six-month old daughter — whose birth was announced with an Animoto video.
Bobby Joe is the principal engineer behind FunWall and other applications on OpenSocial. Bobby built the front-end integration for the YouTube Chromeless player, as well as Slide's client to YouTube's Data APIs.
Brian Muller is a Flash developer at Slide.com. Prior to Slide he worked for Prentice Hall Media Group and developed scripted animation systems at the New York University Media Lab.
Vincent Rubino is the Director of Engineering for Gaia Online's Flash, Sponsorship/Events and Casual Games teams. In this role he helps make sure that the right trains roll on time. Prior to this he was a decade long Yahoo! with a career stretching from the original Yahoo! Mail development team through management/technical leadership on Yahoo! Yellow Pages/Maps; Yahoo! Autos/Careers/Real Estate/Personals/Classifieds; Yahoo! Travel and Address Book/Calendar. His first job was as a tech lead/game designer in Stockholm, Sweden. Vincent has a BA/MSc from Brown University.
Geoff Stearns is a Flash Engineer at YouTube and the author of SWFObject, a Flash Plugin detection and embedding script that has become the de-facto standard for embedding Flash content. Before joining YouTube, Geoff worked on web projects for Adobe, MTV, New York 's MoMA, XM Radio, Comcast, Sony Pictures Classics and taught front end web development at The Cooper Union in New York.
Hunter Walk leads Product Management for YouTube and appears in 7% of YouTube videos (that's a lie). Previously he spent several years working on Google AdSense and earlier in his career helped conceive and launch the virtual world Second Life.
Jeremy Wasser is the Director of social media, networking, and user-generated content services for Helio, working with partners such as MySpace, Facebook, and Flickr. In addition, Jeremy leads product strategy and operations for Helio's custom YouTube Mobile application, the world'ss first mobile YouTube application to include a full suite of personalization and community features. Prior to joining Helio, Jeremy held product and project management positions at Warner Bros. Digital Distribution and Infospace Mobile.
Stephane is a software developer at Google Zurich, working on the YouTube API. While at Google, he's also worked on the Google Base API. He enjoys crazy ideas and makes sure to use as many of them as possible in his code for his co-workers to enjoy.
Jack Conte, Bay Area native and in-house composer for Google, has influences that range from Danny Elfman to Bjork to Chopin, and as a child, whether he was listening to his father playing Bill Evans tunes on the piano or his mother singing old Cole Porter standards, Jack found himself immersed in sound. His live show springs from this diverse spectrum of styles, and it involves multiple keyboards, guitars, jerry-rigged drum pads, and an occasional accordion, all glued together with thumping beats and in-your-face electronics.
