Solutions Gallery Submission
So you've put in the effort to learn about the APIs of the Google Search Appliance or Google Mini to feed content into the index, integrate search results into an application, pull in real-time application information, or honor a custom access control system.
You've then used that knowledge to innovate by building a great product that extends, enhances, or customizes our search solutions in some way. Or you've gone on to build the expertise necessary to offer a value added service to organizations that are integrating or using the Google Search Appliance or Google Mini.
Now what?
We'd like to help you share your offering with the user community. Tell us about what you've done and we may include it in our solutions gallery, thereby giving you access to the growing set of enterprises leveraging our search products.
Submission Requirements
If you are publishing a product or offering a service involving the Google Search Appliance or Google Mini, we are interested in hearing about it. Please e-mail us at enterprise-gallery@google.com and include the following information in the email:
- Your name or organization's name
- The name of the product or service being offered
- The URL where users can get more information about your product or service and contact you for further details. This should be targeted at users or potential customers of your solution.
- Your organization's logo
- A screenshot of the product being offered
- A short one-sentence summary of your product or service in English
- A longer one paragragh (approx. 500 character) description of your product or service in English
- Pricing for your product or service
- The Google Search Appliance or Google Mini APIs that you use
Submission Guidelines
If you're submitting a product, please keep the following in mind:
- Your software should have a complete feature set (stable releases, demos, and betas are welcome)
- Your software should be well-tested and include or clearly indicate all required components
- You must be the author of or have the author's authorization to submit the software
- Your software must not violate any applicable laws or the rights of third parties, such as copyright
- If your software works only in a specific language, include that information in the description
- All APIs are subject to the terms and conditions listed here
Tips for publishers
Take advantage of all that Google offers to bring you closer to your users and complete your offering.
- Create a blog for your product or service to keep your users informed regarding special offers, news, and your latest releases
- Create a discussion group for your product or service to get feedback, keep the dialogue going, and foster user community relationships
- Consider providing your product as Open Source and hosting it at Google Code which includes source hosting, issue tracking, and a project wiki site
