How do I start?

What is the Google Code Search Data API?

The Google Code Search data API allows client and web applications to search public source code for function definitions and sample code.

Here are some of the things you can do with the Code Search data API:

  • Create a plugin for your favorite IDE that searches over the Code Search index for relevant sample code.
  • Create client applications that use Google Code Search to find function definitions and sample code.
