We want to make the AdSense API review process as easy as possible for our developers. This document will help ensure you are ready to request an AdSense API review for your implementation. Before starting this process, please make sure you have thoroughly read the AdSense API Terms and Conditions.
We will review against technical and policy requirements. The technical review ensures that your implementation meets the minimum functionality requirements. The policy review covers aspects such as information disclosure, branding, and user experience. Should changes be necessary after the review, your application will go to the back of the queue, resulting in further delay.
You must have an approved Google AdSense account before submitting your implementation for review. You may use either an individual account or a business account, but remember that the AdSense Terms and Conditions state that a user or payee may only have one AdSense account. Once your Adsense API implementation is approved, your account will be promoted to an AdSense API Developer account and will accrue your earnings.
If you do not already have a Google AdSense account, you may apply on the Google AdSense application page.
The time it takes to review your site will vary depending on how many sites are in line for a review before you. You should budget at least two weeks for the review process if our team requires no changes to your implementation; if changes need to be made, your review may take longer - the time will vary, but the entire process currently takes on the order of weeks as opposed to days.
Please read the following pages to ensure your AdSense API implementation meets the stated requirements:
After you have verified that your implementation meets the stated requirements, send an email to adsenseapi-tech@google.com with the following necessary information. Please note that we will not consider any applications that do not contain all of this information.
It is extremely important that you verify that you meet all requirements in both sections before you submit your application. Failure to do so will result in considerable delays in your review process.
